Fossils are the remains of plants, animals, fungi, bacteria, and single-celled living organisms that have been replaced by rock material or impressions of organisms preserved in rock.*

A Beadie Fossil replica is a bioplastic display fossil set in beautifully-finished wooden ‘rock’.  These unique pieces are perfect for learning spaces, home study or as a gift for a dino-lover of any age.  They will last for years and years if cared for properly.  We do promote play over display, but in this instance there's no judgement...

The best part though?  They're not plastic!

*Fossils cannot be removed from wooden Rocks.  One Piece, not a Bio Cutter

Wooden Product Information

The wooden rocks are made from sustainably-sourced premium pine, machined, hand-finished, and sealed with tung oil.

Bioplastic Product Information

We 3d print these products from PLA, which is a plant-based bioplastic derived from renewable resources, such as corn starch, tapioca root or sugarcane.  Hand wash only.  Exposure to extreme heat (in a dishwasher or direct sun) will damage the natural materials these products are made from and shorten their lifespan. A quick hand wash and dry after play is recommended.  Please also note that bioplastic is not hydrophobic and may absorb colours, like paint, for example.
