Favorite Rhyming Books

Rhyming Books are always fun to read, for both you and your child.  They are also an important part of learning to speak and read.

When children hear rhymes through songs or reading, they become more aware of all the sounds and sound patterns in the rhyme. When they hear these sounds repetitively, your child will build their understanding of how the patterns are grouped together: the words' phonological representation.
