Sumac brings four kinds of outdoor play into one wooden station: a mud kitchen with sand and water bins, a market stand under a striped canopy, a pretend grill, and a garden planter where kids grow real vegetables. Kids mix mud pies, grill pretend burgers, sell their harvest at the market counter and come back the next day to check on their plants.

The root view planter has a clear panel on the side, so kids can see roots spread through the soil as their seeds sprout. Planting, watering and checking in every day teaches patience and where food comes from in a way young kids can see for themselves.

Sand and Water Play

Two removable bins hold sand, water or mud for scooping, pouring and mixing. Lift them out to empty, rinse and refill.

Room for a Group

Placement and Care

Set Sumac on flat, level ground in the yard or on a patio. Empty the bins after play, and cover the play station or store the canopy during winter and long stretches of wet weather to help the wood and fabric last.
